These two plans were presented in the catalogues for the years of 1979 and 1981. Both plans content a simple doble track oval, but also a depot and shunting turcks.

This plan was from the Märklin catalogue for 1984. There's not only a double track main line, but also a depot with a transfer level.

This track plan was presented in the Märklin catalogue 1986/87. K-Track has been used for this layout, there are three circuits, red, blue and black. This layout not only offers normal operation, but also a lot of switching operation because of its many side tracks.

Some time ago I rummaged in the folders which keep the old prospects and catalogues I amassed over the years. I found and old Märklin Digital prospect "Die neue Spiel-Dimension" - "The new dimension of playing", which also kept two track plans for K-track on the last page. Of course you can also operate these layouts analogue, or use C-track. Especially the first of both plans offers a lot of possibilities.
