2. Another Old Town House

Front SideBack SideThis Building is a mixed structure, assembled of different materials. The front and back walls have been assembled from various old plastic facade parts from Faller and Vollmer, while the side gable walls were cut out of Heki Dur sheets. However these sheets did not prove as a very suitable material for houses. It can be dented very easily. The dent's can be filled, but this means extra work.

This house has been fitted with several interesting details, like the gabled dormer window on the street side, or the rear extension with its balcony and the winter garden on the top floor.

Due to the more difficult construction of the mansard roof, I put on a cardboard roof at first. Afterwards, every single plastic roof part was stuck on the cardboard roof. It created some sketches to describe this procedure in a better way. On the sketches, however, a "simple" saddle roof is shown.

In two steps now the plastic roof sheets are glued on the cardboard roof.
