Another "delicacy" for rivet counters. A lcomotive numbered as DB 139 562 - the body however is that of a a DB 141, the chassis comes from a SNCF 17000. It's a dummy, that means a locomotive without any motor which can be used to model a double traction - but several parts for the driving system - likee gears, power take off and the holding device for the motor are installed nonetheless. The order number on the box is 8855 04. Near the name "Jouef" on the bottom side, there's a stamping "Made in Ireland".

A simplified version of a simple basis model. It's not so curious like the other models on these sites, however the buffers are only

So kurios zwar auch wieder nicht, aber auffällig ist, dass die Puffer nur noch angegossen sind. Lok ist motorisiert, Aufdruck unten ist "Jouef" und "Made in Slowenia" - das deutet ja unheimlich auf die Firma Mehano als Hersteller hin. Weis einer der Leser vielleicht mehr?

This model basing on a Jouef BR 44 was presented in the "Eisenbahn-Magazin" of May 1998 as a new item from Völkner Elektronik, a subsidiary of Conrad Elektronik. However, for an April's joke, it came a little bit too late...
